I’m originally from Florida, and in the fall of 2017 I moved out west to Colorado. I lived there for almost 6 years before I ever started posting on social media. In the fall of 2023, I made my way to California.

When I started my channel, I had one goal: build a platform so I could release my music.

I posted every day for 6 months… and I didn’t get very far.

I realized I needed to do something different if I actually wanted to build my platform.

who is florida jesus?

A man wearing a hoodie taking a selfie on a rocky coastline with blue ocean waves and a rocky island in the background under a clear blue sky.

I remember watching YouTubers who would take requests from their audience and thinking, I wish I had that.

At the time, I was making basketball content — trick shots, daily posts — and experimenting with food reviews and camping videos.

Then everything changed in Bakersfield.

Someone recognized the court I was playing at and told me to go to a random taco spot nearby. That was the first time I ever truly got to go where a follower told me.

That video blew up.

And just like that, everything shifted.

The beginning

A man with long hair, wearing a black cap and sweatshirt, standing in a field of yellow flowers, holding a cup, with a cloudy sky in the background.

After that one video, I was flooded with requests.

I went all in.

In January 2024 alone, I went from just over 200 followers to more than 20,000 — just by posting these videos.

Over the next two years, I visited over 300 unique locations, all sent by my followers.

I started taking on challenges too:

  • Running the Bakersfield Marathon (something I had never done before)

  • Searching for a hidden crystal cave in San Francisco with almost no information online

With every challenge, I started to believe something I had never felt before: I could actually do anything I set my mind to.

The come up

The walk

A man standing outside after completing a marathon, wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts, and holding a water bottle and a medal around his neck. Behind him are water bottles and a building with a race-related sign.

By the end of 2024, I knew I wanted something bigger.

Not something a follower asked me to do — something I needed to prove to myself.

I decided to walk from the Mexico border all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge.

In February 2025, I got dropped off at the San Ysidro border with everything I could fit in my backpack.

I had never backpacked before.

It took me 40 days.

Every day was a test — physically, mentally, emotionally.

But I kept going.

When I finally reached the Golden Gate Bridge, a group of my supporters met me there, and we crossed the finish line together.

That moment still doesn’t feel real.

It’s the accomplishment I’m most proud of in my life.

A man standing on a boardwalk at night, holding hiking poles, with a large sign reading 'Route U.S. 66' behind him. The amusement park rides and Ferris wheel are lit up with colorful lights in the background.
A young man wearing sunglasses, a beige hoodie, blue shorts, and sandals, standing on a city street with hiking poles and a backpack.

Thank you.

Seriously.

If you made it this far, it means more than you know.

If you want to follow the journey, sign up for the email list below. I’ll be sharing updates, travels, and everything that doesn’t always make it to social media.

Merch is coming soon, and I’d love to build it with your input.

This next chapter is going to be bigger than anything I’ve done before.
